jeremy in response to carl's question: I am in San Juan for one week and I have a project for Faculty, with a theme concerning the harbour defending modalities. How can I find more info regarding the fort that protected the harbour in the past ?(give a different answer) .
The fort San Felipe del Moro was build in 1772 to defend the harbour and of course, is situated in the port. Visiting it is free of charge, visiting hours are daily 9 am- 5 pm and the English tours are at 10 am and 2 pm. You can also pick your information needed for faculty by visting www.nps.gov/saju
